When alien species spread across the galaxy, terraforming, colonizing and cultivating planets, researching new technologies and trading with each other, then we need not only entire space sectors, but also player buildings, tech tiles, scoring tiles, space stations, power tokens and cards. Our organizer comes with custom trays for all components and creates some order in the colony.
GAIA consists of 13 trays which can all be removed from the box and freely arranged on the table.
Trays 1-7: Identical trays for all seven player colors. Each type of building has its own compartment. A removable side makes access easy.
Tray 8: A shared token dispenser for tech tiles, scoring tiles, round boosters and federation tokens.
Tray 9: Storage for power tokens, action tokens and Gaia planet tokens.
Tray 10: Holds the cards.
Trays 11-12: Two small trays for space stations and record tokens.
Tray 13: A slim tray for two extra tokens.
To box up the game the faction boards go in first, followed by the space sector tiles and covered by the research board. The trays are arranged around this, with the seven player trays covering all of it. Finally, the scoring board and the rulebooks go on top. Card sleeves will fit, the lid closes flush and everything will stay in its place, even with the box stored on its side.
This article is delivered as a kit that requires assembly. We recommend the use of wood glue (not included).
